The European Commission has decided today (19) to extend the GSP plus tariff concession given to Sri Lanka by the European Union by another 04 years until December 31, 2027. Sri Lanka Latest News
The tariff relief was supposed to end on December 31 this year.
The European Union Representative Office states that countries such as Sri Lanka will not lose access to preferential tariff concessions while negotiations on the new GSP Plus system continue.
Meanwhile, the European Union Representative Office in Sri Lanka has further emphasized that in 2022, Sri Lanka has made exports worth 3.2 billion euros to the European Union.
