Sajaba Member of Parliament Mr. Iran Wickramaratne has proposed through a bill that henceforth the VAT amendments brought by the Minister of Finance will not come into force without the approval of the Parliament.
That proposal has been seconded by Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara.
