Eighty-two people arrested during the Socialist Youth Union protest have been released on bail.
The Maligakanda Magistrate has granted police bail to 79 persons and surety bail to three others.
On Saturday (24), the Socialist Youth Union planned a protest, which resulted in the arrest of 83 protestors.
According to the Police Media Spokesperson, their comments were also taped last night.
Among those arrested were two monks, 77 men, and four women.
