A prominent Sri Lankan businessman, Dudley Sirisena, says that the Rolls-Royce vehicle he recently purchased is a rare Phantom Centenary Edition, produced to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Rolls-Royce brand, with only about 25 such vehicles manufactured worldwide.
In a note shared on social media along with photographs of the vehicle, Sirisena stated that this model is a fully enhanced special edition designed by Rolls-Royce specifically to celebrate the company’s centenary.
He described the car as not only a personal achievement, but also a symbol of pride for Polonnaruwa, for Sri Lanka, and for all those who supported him throughout his journey.
Reflecting on his entrepreneurial path, Sirisena recalled that around 40 years ago, during a time of limited financial resources, he purchased his first lorry by pawning his wife’s jewellery.
He explained that the journey from those humble beginnings to owning one of the world’s rarest luxury vehicles was built on perseverance, sacrifice, and hard work.
He also emphasized the importance of consistent effort and resilience in achieving long-term success.
Addressing young entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners, he urged them never to give up on their dreams.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Centenary Edition is regarded as one of the most exclusive variants of the Phantom, combining the British luxury car manufacturer’s heritage with bespoke enhancements.
