The people of Thalaimannar protested demanding immediate justice in the death of the girl and appointing a special committee to investigate the case.
This peaceful protest was held today from 8.30 am to 9.30 am. Protesters carried placards with various slogans and engaged in this protest.
Mannar Court allowed the person arrested in connection with the murder of a 10-year-old girl in Urmanai village, Thalaimannaram, to be held in police custody for the next 48 hours.
