According to Section 3 of the Government Land Acquisition Act, by her powers as the competent authority of the said asset, the Divisional Secretary announces to Anuradha Lanka Jayaratne to vacate the property immediately by going to the cultural centre building and posting the relevant written notice there.

Anuradha Jayaratne has so far been illegally enjoying a plot of 0.3283 hectares in Radawa Vatta of Angamana West Grama Niladhari domain to generate income.

With this decision taken by the Divisional Secretary, it was reported that she was being pressured even by government officials. This officer assumed duties in this area recently.

Many previous government officials have been behaving as if they did not notice this situation.
