The government is carrying fake news through the media that as the leader of the opposition in the Parliamentary Advisory Committee, expressed his desire to change the electoral system and that he did not agree to any such decision as the leader of the opposition and the government led by the prime minister is continuing the process of postponing the elections. Opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa said in Parliament today (19).Sri Lanka Latest News

He participated in a number of subjects such as the employment problem of several graduates, presenting the problems of rural service officers and recruitment problems, etc. and after that he withdrew and after that he withdrew and made false propaganda through the media that he participated in the meeting to change the electoral system. The leader of the opposition said that this is a complete falsehood and a tome and that the Parliament has video tapes to prove it, but the Prime Minister is afraid to release it.

Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the opposition leader, further said that the advisory committee’s notes contain things that were discussed by the members and if possible, the advisory committee used the advisory committee to justify the process by which the government postponed the elections.

Also, the opposition leader said that the members of the opposition were not talking about the postponement of the vote but about the problems of the public servants who had given nominations and that fact was spreading false propaganda that the vote was postponed and the nominations were cancelled. So don’t spread such false information.

Opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa added that since he and the opposition never agreed to postpone the election or cancel the nominations, the opposition MPs who proposed to postpone or cancel the election should be revealed and the opposition did not submit or agree to any such proposal.

The opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa further said that such issues have been raised because the government is afraid of the elections and because of that fear, such actions of the advisory committees are not approved.
