Diana, still a dual citizen? Documents leaked! She cheated her way into parliament?

These days, practically everyone is talking about dual citizenship.

The 21st constitutional amendment recommended that dual citizens be barred from voting in parliament, and it was approved by a majority vote.

The topic of debate on the political stage these days is who the dual citizens who are currently representing the Parliament are.

Among them was also the name of Diana Gamage state minister.

However, she recently told the media that she is not a dual citizen.

Despite this, Colombo Chief Magistrate Nandana Amarasinghe today summoned the Criminal Investigation Department Station Commander to appear in court on the 10th.

This order was issued today after a case brought by Mr. Lakmal Herath was called due to the failure to examine State Minister Diana Gamage’s dual citizenship.

The prosecution’s lawyer, Gunaratne Vanninayake, told the court that failing to investigate when government officials had supplied information that the minister’s national identity card and birth certificate were fraudulent was a major breach of responsibility.

However, we have received multiple emails concerning her dual citizenship, as well as several letters indicating that she has obtained a new foreign passport through an application declaring that she is a dual citizen.

We attempted to call Diana Gama’s Minister multiple times but were unsuccessful each time. Dasatha Lanka provided the image.
