Member of Parliament Dhammika Perera says that he is ready to accept a ministerial post with responsibilities regarding economic development.
He said that he has informed the President in writing about it. Mr. Dhammika Perera, Member of Parliament, expressed these views while joining the 360 time live program that was aired on “TV Derana” last night (29).
“No matter where I go, I’m not one to change my father. That means if we are leaders, we don’t need to change such people. We need to give people the vision that this is how it works. We cannot find good people in the society. You need to know how to learn from the people there.
Even now, I have told this president that if he is allowed to manage the crisis, I will take a ministerial position in the government again. Otherwise, I don’t care if they just give me a ministerial post. It can be a 10-day job like that. That means the piece called economic development should be left. I just wrote it and gave it.”
