Details of 5 individualswho were found dead with knife slashes in Neduntivu, Jaffna yesterday (Apr. 22) have been released.
The individuals killed in this incident have been named as follows,
- Velayuthampillai Nagendraratnam aged 77,who holds a British citizenship
- Naganadhi Balasingam aged 82
- Balasingam Kanmanipillai aged 76
- Kartgigesu Nafeswari aged 83
- Mahadevan aged 75
Meanwhile, a 100-year-old lady named Kanagam Pooranam who sustained injuries during this incident has been admitted to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital.
One Arrested…
The Police state that a suspect has been taken under custody from the Punkudutivu area, in connection to the murders in Neduntivu.
It has been stated that the suspect is an individual who was deported from Germany and he has been psychologically affected.
