The judge stated this at a ceremony in Kalmunai attended by judges and lawyers.
Mr. Nawaz pointed out that if contempt of court happens in your presence, you can take the case yourself and sentence, otherwise the people’s trust in the Judiciary will be lost.
The judge further noted that the people are watching all what happens.
