The opposition leader said that the government is ready to bring the Anti-Terrorism Act created by the government to the parliament, regardless of what the government says on various occasions, and through it, the government is ready to submit many ordinances that blatantly violate the basic rights of the people.

The opposition leader insisted that the bill was withdrawn by telling the world that it was a temporary pause and that this government does not know how to live the people but to suppress them.

Opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa said this while making a special statement regarding the Anti-Terrorism Act today.

Fearing the election, this government is doing various things to prevent the election, while working to abolish the right of universal suffrage of the people, the opposition leader emphasized that while the people are taking to the streets to separate their rights, they are bringing various ordinances to suppress their political opponents.
