The Ministry of Defence has announced that an investigation is currently in progress to determine whether members of the Civil Security Department, who have been assigned to various locations, including places of worship, state institutions, and other facilities are engaging in activities beyond their official responsibilities. These roles encompass tasks such as maintaining places of worship, agricultural activities, managing elephant fences, and various other institutional duties.
In addition, the minister has ordered a review and undies of the relevant regulations governing the deployment of CSD personnel to such institutions.
Furthermore, the state Minister has also mandated the immediate termination of services of any CSD personnel found to be in violation of official instructions.
