The Union of Customs Officers issued a statement saying that the association is protesting with the entire trade union movement fighting against the government’s unfair tax policy and urging the government to immediately withdraw the tax amendment that is dragging professionals and public servants into the frying pan.
The trade union agrees to pay taxes under a fair policy to secure government revenue, but the customs officers’ union says that the new tax policy introduced by the government is a tax system imposed on professionals with arbitrariness without any reasonable basis. It also mentions that to provide relief to tax evaders.
