In keeping with current government’s sinister attempts of trading valuable national resources of the country, all moves are underfoot are finalized to sell the TV channel Eye which is currently owned by the Rupavahini Corporation. It is learned that the channel Eye is already leased to a private sector without following any transparent procumbent process, said the leader of the opposition. Sri Lanka Latest News.

Even if the government has financial problems, there should be a proper system to connect new investors to a state media and apart from that system, a game of selling public resources is currently being implemented as the government sees fit. In the end, this government will have to privatize even public schools and hospitals. Opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa said that it can be done.

We should stand against this moves of selling the country’s valuable resources, and all these things are the resources of the people and the country and there should be a transparent and procurement system in working with those resources and such illegal auctions will be taken over by the government and we will not allow the privatization of education or health sector. Opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa said.

Opposition Leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa said this today (14) at the occasion of giving a bus worth 50 lakh rupees to Samanthuray Muslim College in Ampara under Sakwala bus program.
