Mr. Sudath Chandrasekera, Advisor to the Ministry of Sports, states that Mr. Arjuna Ranatunga is expected to be appointed as the Chairman of the Cricket Board after the Cricket Board has been dissolved.
Arjuna Ranatunga also says that he has made death threats to his wife by making phone calls to his nephew as he was an obstacle to his work.
He states that information has been found in this regard and they are going to be reported to the court.
He has mentioned this by sending his letter of resignation from the position of advisor to Sports Minister Mr. Roshan Ranasinghe.
