Court ordered CID to report facts on the alleged collections of strictly private information fraudulently from the female university dons and female students by Google!  I Sri Lanka Latest News

Criminal investigation department of Sri Lanka police reported to the courts yesterday (16) that they are in the process of conducting an intense investigation about alleged collections of personal sexual information from female university dons and female students in a fraudulent and surreptitious manner.   Sri Lanka Latest News

The court ordered Google to give a detailed report regarding the information obtained in this way.

The Computer Crime Investigation Division of the Criminal Investigation Department, Colombo informed the additional Magistrate T.N.L Ilangasinghe that the investigation was initiated based on a complaint made by a lecturers at Kelaniya University.

The Criminal Investigation Department informed the court that the complaint had been made stating that a Google form was being exchanged over the internet for obtaining extremely private sexual information using fake documents under the guise of obtaining information about women’s sexual behavior and attitudes.

The officials of the Criminal Investigation Department informed that a large number of university students and professors had given their very private sexual information according to the Google form and informed that they would take information from the Google Company and investigate further.

The Magistrate ordered the Criminal Investigation Department to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident and report the matter to the court.
