The Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) discussed the following matters concerning the National Savings Bank’s provision of a Rs. 200 million loan to Bimputh Financial Institution, which operated under the Daya Gamage Group, as well as the actions taken following the institution’s default on the loan.
