The continuation of killings persists. Another shooting was reported yesterday in the Mattakuliya area in Colombo.
According to the police, a 26-year-old resident of Mattakkuliya was seriously injured in a shooting that took place last night (29th) in Aliwatta area of Mattakkuliya. They said the suspects came on a motorcycle and opened fire with a pistol.
The injured has been admitted to Colombo National Hospital. The police suspect that the shooting took place as a result of a dispute between two organized gangs involved in drug trafficking.
