The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has announced the appointment of a committee, chaired by the Prime Minister’s Secretary, to provide recommendations to the Cabinet aimed at improving the quality of public services and regulatory functions carried out by 166 government-owned non-commercial institutions.

This initiative, undertaken following a Cabinet decision, seeks to involve public input on various aspects of these institutions. The committee will collect suggestions regarding the quality of services provided, challenges faced by the public in accessing these services, and ideas for enhancing their overall effectiveness.

A complete list of the 166 institutions included in this consultation is available for download at https://pmoffice.gov.lk/soesuggestions.php. The public is encouraged to share their feedback by completing the form on the website. Submissions will be accepted until the 31st of this month, as announced by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
