The Colombo High Court has today (19th) issued an order restricting the use of two luxury residences owned by Mr. Ramith Rambukwella, son of former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.

This decision was made by Colombo High Court Judge Manjula Thilakaratne, following a request from the Bribery Commission.

The commission informed the court that Mr. Ramith Rambukwella had purchased two houses within a luxury housing complex in Kollupitiya for 80 million rupees and 65 million rupees, respectively.

In light of this, the Bribery Commission sought an investigation and requested a court order to prohibit the use of the properties.

After reviewing the request, the High Court Judge issued an order barring the use of the properties until December 19th.
