Cindy McCain, the US ambassador to the United Nations agencies in Rome, is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka on the 25th.
In a statement, the US Embassy stated that they will stay in Sri Lanka from the 25th to the 28th.
In addition to meeting with senior officials and aid organizations in Colombo, Ambassador McCain visited the US in Sri Lanka. Together with Ambassador Julie Chung, they will meet with schools, agricultural research institutes and community organizations in the Central Province and ask details from the beneficiaries and implementers of the US-funded humanitarian aid programs.
