This person has been arrested in Teldeniya area of Manuvara recently by a team of Criminal Investigation Department officials who went from Colombo.
The arrest was made according to an investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department due to complaints received from a large number of people regarding money laundering.
Accordingly, it is said that the Criminal Investigation Department officials have started investigations to find other people involved in this fraud.
