On November 1, 2024, Chinese Ambassador H.E. Qi Zhenhong attended and delivered an address at the award ceremony for the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship held at Keppitipola Maha Vidyalaya.
The Chinese Embassy donated a total of Rs. 2,500,000, which will be distributed by the school among 100 students as scholarships.
The Chinese Ambassador’s speech highlighted the significance of the scholarship program in supporting young students’ educational pursuits.
