The budget amendment bill for 2022 will be presented to Parliament on September 9th.

The party leaders also agreed to present the 22nd Constitution Amendment Bill to Parliament on the 10th.
The Cabinet of Ministers also approved the 22nd Constitution Amendment Bill yesterday.
As a result, the bill was published in the Gazette. That is according to the order of Vijayadasa Rajapaksa, Minister of Justice, Prisons, and Constitutional Reform.
Meanwhile, the party leaders’ meeting today decided to postpone the debate on the government’s policy statement presented to Parliament by President Ranil Wickramasinghe to the 9th, 10th, and 12th.
