Chandirka opted not to support any Presidential candidate; wishes to remain neutral

Former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga said in a special discussion with a group of Sri Lanka Freedom Party members active in the Attanagalla constituency that she will not support any candidate contesting the upcoming presidential election. (Sri Lanka Latest News)

This special discussion was held at the auditorium on the first floor of the Nittambuwa Horagolla Bandaranaike Memorial Library premises.

Mrs. Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga has called the active members of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party to inform them of her position regarding the upcoming presidential election and stated her position in front of them.

Some members of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party have suggested that they support the presidential candidate Mr. Sajith Premadasa.

Mrs. Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga, who has expressed her opinion there, has said that she will not support any candidate and that she has no objection or objection to the Sri Lanka Freedom Party active in Attanagalla Division to support a candidate of their choice.

Mrs. Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga, who has given more comments here, has said that she is an old member of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and is a supporter of the party.
