State Minister DV Chanaka who was wild life state minister has taken charge of the State Ministry of Power and Energy today.
He was sworn in yesterday as the Minister of State for Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation before the President and later informed that he could not accept the ministerial position.
Accordingly, steps have been taken to give Mr. DV Chanaka the position of State Minister of Power and Energy. Mr. Indika Anuruddha was sworn in as the State Minister of Power and Energy yesterday.
