Bruno Divakara has been arrested for aiding and abetting Natasha Edirisuriya, who has been remanded for making a statement that insults Buddhism.
It is reported that the Criminal Investigation Department has arrested him today (31) afternoon.
Preliminary investigations conducted by the police have revealed that the person in question has supported the dissemination of statements in a way that harms religious freedom by running a YouTube channel.
Police say that the suspect was arrested after about 8 hours of questioning.
