Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has been summoned by the Bribery Commission to appear before it on the 25th of April at 9:30 a.m.
The summons has been issued to obtain a statement in connection with a remark made by Parliamentarian Chamara Sampath Dassanayake.
Accordingly, the Bribery Commission has officially requested the presence of the former President to provide clarification regarding the matter.
