Bribery Commission Pursues Diana for Knowingly Committed Wrongdoing – Sri Lanka Latest News

The Bribery or Corruption Investigation Commission has started investigations against former Minister of State Mrs. Diana Gamage for misappropriation of public money and property by working as a Member of Parliament and State Minister for almost 04 years knowing that she is not a citizen of Sri Lanka.Sri Lanka Latest News

The Bribery Commission has started this investigation based on a complaint that former Minister of State Mrs Diana Gamage, while working as a Member of Parliament and a Minister of State, has misappropriated public money and property and committed the offence of corruption mentioned in the Bribery Act.

Kamantha Thushara, President of ‘Citizen Power Against Corruption and Waste organization, requested to investigate the misappropriation of public money and property by working as a Member of Parliament and State Minister knowing that she is not a citizen of Sri Lanka and to recover the money she misappropriated and file a case against her. According to a complaint made by him the Bribery Commission has started this investigation.
