The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has informed the Colombo Magistrate’s Court that indictments have been filed against former Minister Chamara Sampath Dassanayake before the Colombo High Court in connection with a corruption charge.
The Bribery Commission further notified the court that the indictments against the suspect have already been submitted to the Colombo High Court.
Accordingly, after concluding the proceedings before the Magistrate’s Court, the Magistrate ordered former Minister Chamara Sampath Dassanayake to appear before the High Court upon receiving the relevant notice.
