It has been learned that all the members of the Tamil Alliance were present on this occasion.
Thus, this is considered to be the first time that a political leader from the South has been invited to visit the party office of the Tamil Alliance.
Although the President and the JVP leader visited Jaffna earlier, it is a special incident that the Tamil National Alliance did not extend such an official invitation to both of them.
