In the first phase, the trilingual coding course integrates six global platforms. The second phase includes Full Stack Developer and Cloud Computing courses.
The course content has been developed in collaboration with the Universities of Moratuwa, Ruhunu and Kelaniya and SLASSCOM.
It is emphasized that through this initiative, a pool of human resources with high information and communication technology will be built so that Sri Lanka can properly utilize the knowledge of the economic potential.
DP Education has embarked on an initiative of immense economic value.
It aims to produce one million students with global IT knowledge and skills worth US$7.5 billion in five years.
The estimated value of imparting knowledge and skills through this project is 2.5 million rupees per student, which is 2,500 billion rupees or 7.5 billion US dollars over the entire five-year period.
Through the open online system run by the Dhammika and Priscilla Perera Foundation, DP Education I in 331 Divisional Secretary (DS) Divisions across the country. T. A campus is expected to be established. These centers will cater for between 750 and 2,100 students. More than 40,000 students are being taught in the 50 centers currently operating. In addition, 120,000 students are engaged in online learning for the first two phases. The plan includes opening 50 more centers by the end of 2023, along with the 30 centers currently under construction.
