The election to appoint the Chairman and other key positions of the Beruwala Pradeshiya Sabha was postponed today by Provincial Commissioner Sarangika Jayasundara.
She explained that the proceedings of the council are being temporarily delayed, as the Court of Appeal is scheduled to deliver its verdict regarding the secret ballot at 10 a.m. today.
