Bangladesh beat Netherland by 9 runs

The Bangladesh team managed to record a 9-run victory over the Netherlands in the first match of the Super 12 round of the 2020 World Cup in Australia.

The captain of the Dutch team who won the toss of the match had given the opportunity to the Bangladesh team to bat first.

Accordingly, the Bangladesh team, who batted first, scored 144 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.

Afif Hossain scored 38 runs for Bangladesh innings and Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 25 runs.

According to that, the Dutch team, which entered the field in pursuit of a target of 145 runs to win the match, scored only 135 points.

Colin Ackerman, who fought alone for the Dutch team, scored 62 points.

Taskin Ahmed took 4 wickets and Hasan Mahmud took 2 wickets for the Bangladesh team.
