Ban on Anura I Sri Lanka Latest News

The court has issued an order against the National People’s Party leader Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake and the party’s general secretary Tilvin Silva, prohibiting them from holding demonstrations in several major places in Colombo.Sri Lanka Latest News

Fort Magistrate’s Court has issued this order according to a statement made by Fort Police.

Accordingly, it will be prohibited to hold protests in the following places from 12.00 noon to 06.00 pm today.

President’s secretary’s office,
Presidential Palace,
Ministry of Finance,
Central Bank,
Police Headquarters,
Olcott Avenue from Fort Railway Station to CTO Junction,
Lotus Road from CTO Junction to Ceramic Junction NSA Roundabout,
York Street,
Bank Avenue,
Chatham Avenue,
Mudali’s Path,
Baron Jayathilake Avenue,
Opposite Police Headquarters,
Scout Avenue
Chaitya Road,
President Avenue,
Galle Road from Gallumudoora Roundabout to NSA Roundabout and Galle Mudoora Pitiya Premises to the Presidential Secretariat,
