An attempted shooting in the Kovilwatte area of Maradana was foiled this morning, according to police reports.
Two unidentified gunmen, arriving on a motorcycle, targeted a house in the area and attempted to open fire on an individual inside. However, the firearm failed to discharge.
The intended target, who was inside the house at the time, managed to flee the scene and escape unharmed.
Police investigations are currently underway.
