Asian cricket champions and Asian netball champions are schedule to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow.

These groups are scheduled to arrive on the island at 6.30 am tomorrow and the Presidential Media Unit has requested the people to gather on both sides of the road to welcome them.

Following the welcoming ceremony at the airport, the team will take part in a victory parade, which will be conducted along the normal route of Colombo–Katunayake.

The players will board a ‘Double-Decker’ bus from the airport to take part in the parade, whilst the team will engage with the fans on their way to Colombo. The parade will commence at 06.30 am from the airport premises.

Sri Lanka Cricket said it wishes to invite the fans to gather in order to wish its cricketing heroes, who have won the Men’s Asia Cup 2022. This is the 6th such occasion on which Sri Lanka has clinched the title
