Accordingly, the Election Commission says that only 2.2 billion rupees is needed for the period up to the holding of the election, and it is sufficient to receive the remaining amount in three instalments within three months of holding the election.
As the financial condition of the country is currently in good condition, the Election Commission expects that the General Treasury will release the necessary funds to hold the postponed local government elections.
