Father Jude Crisantha, Director of Mass Communication for the Archdiocese, has confirmed that the news circulated by the A5 News Sri Lanka Facebook page, featuring an image of His Eminence the Cardinal, is false.
He emphasized that His Eminence has never made any statement regarding Mr. Sajith Premadasa and expressed strong disapproval over the misuse of his image to propagate misleading information.
This is a clear case of fake news.
