He mentioned this when he came to the Criminal Investigation Department to complain about the incident.
“About 6 months ago, he sent me a video on WhatsApp and told me to watch this. I was told that there are many videos and if you don’t give me one crore rupees I will kill you on the first of July. I said that I don’t have my videos and I won’t give a crore of rupees. No problem killing me, I’m ready. Then the person who sent it deleted those videos. Ajith Edirisinghe says that he received those videos on WhatsApp.
