A meeting between a group of representatives of the International Monetary Fund and Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, took place in Parliament today (7). Also, representing the International Monetary Fund, the resident representative of the International Monetary Fund, Dr. Servat Jahan, and Mrs. Manavi Abeywickrama, who was an economic analyst as well as the permanent resident representative of the International Monetary Fund in Sri Lanka, were also present.
