ICRA Lanka Limited has ceased its operations in Sri Lanka with effect from 31 January 2023.
In this situation, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has informed that ICRA Lanka Limited has been removed from its list of approved grade institutions.
Here the Central Bank of Sri Lanka informs the licensed financial companies in the country and further states that institutions that have received credit rating services from ICRA Lanka Limited should enter into new agreements with another recognized credit rating agency.
ICRA Lanka Limited has not officially stated the reason for ceasing operations in Sri Lanka.
