17-year-old Ashan Janith Senadheera, who was born with a disability, was one more student among the lakhs of students who appeared for the GCE ordinary level examination this year.
Many people thought that Ashan Janith Senadheera would suffer the same sad fate as other disabled students due to the step motherly treatment of disabled students under the normal education system.
But it was not so. The DP EDUCATION educational channel, which was set by a millionaire businessman Mr. Dhammika Perera for the education of the students of the country, was able to fulfill Ashan’s education needs.
Accordingly, Ashan did all his educational activities through DP EDUCATION channel.
The result was that the student Ashan Janith got excellent results with 4 A’s, 4 B’s and 1 C’ in the A-level examination.
