British Airways is reportedly assessing the possibility of resuming flight operations to Sri Lanka, according to Sri Lanka Latest News.
Although no official confirmation has been issued, reports indicate that preliminary preparations are underway to operate the service via the Maldives, capitalizing on regional travel demand.
British Airways last operated flights to Sri Lanka in April 2013, deploying a Boeing B777 aircraft on the route.
