After 12 years of research, University of Colombo professor Sameera Samarakoon and team discovered a cancer cure I Sri Lanka Latest News

Professor Samira R. Samarakoon of the Institute of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of the University of Colombo and a research team were successful in finding  a nutritional drug that can kill cancer cells.

Prof. Samira R. Samarakoon said that this result was achieved by successfully conducting a scientific research for more than 12 years and it was produced in collaboration with a private company Professor Samarakoon said.

He also said that this is a natural nutritional medicine and can destroy cancer cells of about 15 types of cancer including breast cancer, lung cancer, rectal cancer. The professor also said that these nutrients are available to cancer patients as well as to patients who are recovering from cancer. He added that this will control the recurrence of cancer cells.
