The Nallathanniya Police say that a young man who came to Sripada Vandana jumped down from the safety fence on Ratnapura Road in Sri Pada Uda Maluwa. (Sri Lanka Latest News)

Thus, a 33-year-old youth named Dinesh Hemantha, a resident of Hambantota Suriyawewa area jumped down from the courtyard of Sri Pada.

This young man along with two other women from Suriyawewa area yesterday morning (19) came for Sri Pada Vandana and while going down the Ratnapura Marga in Sri Pada Uda Malu, it has been recorded in the security camera footage installed in Sri Pada Uda Malu that he ran and jumped down the safety fence at the same time.

It is also said that the troops of the Lakshapana Army Camp have launched an operation in the Sri Pada Uda Malwa Reserve since the morning of today (20) to find the young man who jumped down from the Sri Pada Uda Malwa.

It is reported that the two women who came with the young man told the Nallathanniya police that the young man who jumped down from the Sripada courtyard was unconscious before jumping down from the courtyard.

Regarding the missing young man, his relatives have complained to the Siripagama Police on Sripada Road in Ratnapura.
