The Wild Sri Lanka Group, which was founded around 2015, has been continuously contributing to the development of the quality and value of wildlife photography in Sri Lanka, and is dedicated to the advancement and safety of the flora and fauna community.

The Wild Sri Lanka group began with a small membership and has since grown to over 40,000 professional and amateur wildlife photographers and environmentalists.

It should be noted that over 3,500 applications were received for the WSLPOTY wildlife photography competition, which began in 2022, making it the most appealing and competitive competition held that year.

The competition was judged by a panel of judges with local and international experience, with the emphasis primarily on the quality of the photographs, natural behaviour patterns, habitats, optics, and technology used.

This competition and exhibition, organised for the third time by the Wild Sri Lanka group, will take place on January 07 and 08, 2023 at Horton Place Colombo 07 at the JDA, Perera Art Gallery. From 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

The organising committee had also arranged for the highest prize money in this country for a photography competition. The organising committee wishes to thank the sponsoring companies for their generous support.

We cordially invite anyone who enjoys wildlife photography and nature to attend this photo exhibition.
