The Sri Lanka Bar Association has decided to oppose the new anti-terrorism bill and online security bill gazetted by the government. Sri Lanka Latest News In today’s Bar Association Council meeting, it is stated that it has been decided to inform the government not to pass the two relevant bills and to challenge the said two bills before the Supreme Court. The Bar Association is of the opinion that the two Bills in question are a threat to democracy and freedom of speech and expression in this country.
