A special investigation on the passenger who was onboard a Japan-bound flight without any valid travel documents! Is BIA security so weak? I Sri Lanka Latest News

Negombo Acting Magistrate Mr. Indika Silva has ordered that a special investigation should be started immediately regarding the person who was arrested while sitting in a plane that was going to travel to Japan by secretly entering Katunayake Airport as a threat to national security.Sri Lanka Latest News

The magistrate also ordered that the arrested suspect be remanded until the 6th.

A.P.Sudagar Indrajith, a resident of Wattala Handala, was thus remanded.

The police informed the court that the preliminary investigations so far revealed that the suspect was a person who worked in Japan for some time and then came to Sri Lanka to get married and then told his wife that he was going back to Japan and left home.

It was also said in the court that the suspect did not have any document in his hand to go to Japan.
